Chapter 6- (A/N’s. This chapter is a little insight into Bulma and Chi-Chi’s past. I can not write their whole past, mainly because parts would be to insignificant to sight. There are two Bulmas in this chapter. The one we all know will be Bulma, the other will be Chibi Bulma even though she grows throughout the chap. This chapter will contain graphic death and reference to rape. It is not my intention to offend anyone with this story.)

Special thanks to Chibi Tenshi Senchi for my first and *sniffle* only review. I am glad you liked it, hope you enjoy this part as well!

Disclaimer- Let’s just say if you sue me, you will lose more than you will make cause I got a whole lota nothing!

********************************************************************************

Something was nagging at the back of her mind. A memory trying to piece itself together. The blue haired beauty shifted in her sleep, almost as if the movement was needed to stimulate the memory. Then came the dream….

Bulma looked around, it was almost like she was back on Vegeta-sei. Dirt. Dirt everywhere. The rocky surface of her home planet lay before her. Bulma began to walk in a direction that seemed familiar. Soon a small village came into view. Her house!! This was Vegeta-sei. The blue-eyed saiya-jin walked forward and peered in the front window, what she saw startled her. There stood her parents and Chi-Chi looking over a cradle. “That must be ME in the cradle!” she said to herself in awe. She was reliving her life in her sleep, and the oddest part was she knew she was dreaming.

“Mommy, why is she blue? I wanted the little dark haired boy next to her!”

“Now Chi, we can not question why we were given such a… uh…blessing.”

Bulma couldn’t believe her ears, her family was talking about her as though they did not want her. She could understand Chi-Chi’s disappointment, after all she was only 2, but her mother, it was almost to much for her to stand. The baby in the crib gurgled, and Chi-Chi quickly forgot her disappointment. Bulma watched as her parents left the two young girls alone and walked to the kitchen. In her haste to hear more, Bulma knocked over a few potted plants on the porch. Both Onya and Carrion ran to see what had happened. “Man, busted, oh tee-hee, this is MY dream, I don’t want to be seen.” After discovering nothing outside Bulma’s parents decided to continue their conversation outside. “Perfect,” Bulma thought to herself.

“Carrion, what are we going to do. She is, well, she is B LUE for the sake of Vegeta-sei!”

“Onya, there is nothing that we can do. Fate has chosen her to be different it is out of our hands. She will have a hard life, but maybe there is a way we can lesson the chances of her being picked on.”

“We could dye her hair and tail! Oh, but her eyes. What did I do to deserve this little ‘gift’?” Onya sighed in defeat.

“I was actually thinking I could talk to King Vegeta. Maybe he will station me on another planet. Then she will be out of harms way. I hope.” With a sigh the weary couple turned to each other and then slowly walked inside to their children.

The world started to rush by. A blending of colors and faces passed before Bulma’s eyes. When the ground stopped moving the female saiya-jin looked around. She was startled to discover it was her home again. “I wonder what just happened.” Then the front door opened and out stepped a 6 year old Chi-Chi. “This means I am four. We didn’t leave Vegeta-sei till I was 10.”

“Hurry up Bulma!! We gotta find those rocks for momma’s necklace.” Bulma sighed as she heard her older sister yell. Her mother’s rock necklace. The girls had made it for her as a gift for her birthday.

“I’m coming Chi!! Don’t leave me. I knows where there are lotsa pretty rocks! Momma will love it.” Chibi Bulma yelled.

Bulma let out a gasp, it was her, but her hair was brown. “That’s right! I forgot that mom dyed my hair so I would blend in a little better. I remember fighting with her over that until she finally gave up,” she let out a small chuckle. “If my memory is correct then my hair should be blue permanently in a few days.” The older Bulma decided to follow herself and sister.

“Chi do you think we are gunna leave Vegeta-sei? I don’t want to. All of my friends are here.”

“I dunno, maybe it wouldn’t be to bad. ‘Sides, you don’t got that many friends anyways.”

“Chi-Chi you big meany, I gots lots of friends! Some you never even met afore.” Chibi Bulma sniffled out.

“Little Blue don’t cry, I’m sorry. Come on lets go find those stones for momma!” With that the two small saiya-jin girls ran towards a large pond. Upon reaching the edge they looked at each other for instruction. “Okay Bulma, lay on your tummy and put your hands in the water. When you feel a smooth stone pull it up!”

“Kay, I can do that.” Very soon sitting between the girls was an extremely large pile of smooth, rounded, rock.

Bulma remember this part very well. “Next Chi-Chi will cut holes in the center with her ki, while I string the rocks on the fishing line we brought.”

The two young girls finished their project and decided to take a swim. Chibi Bulma dived in head first, only to have all the dye rush out of her hair. In place of the brown was a blue brighter than that of her future counterpart’s color now. “Oh, Bulma mommas gunna be mad. Your blue is showing!”

“I don’t care. I like it. Blue is my favorite color. I am never gunna dye it again.”

Bulma had to laugh, “Yep I defiantly was a stubborn little thing.” The girls stopped swimming and gathered their things. They walked together, arms linked, back to their home.

Once again the earth began to swirl, placing Bulma at the docking garage. “We must be getting ready to leave Vegeta-sei.”

“Bye Chi-Chi, Bulma!! We are gunna miss you guys, do you promise to write or call or get on the satellite and say hi?”

“Yeah, Spinak, we promise. How else are we going to keep up with the gossip?” A more mature Chi-Chi laughed.

Chibi Bulma snorted, “Yeah right you are not even old enough to appreciate gossip yet. Your only 12 Chi!”

“Correction, I am almost 13, almost a teenager. Besides I am way more mature and worldly than you will ever be!” With that said she did the most grown up thing she could think of, she stuck her tongue out at her sister.

“Hey, I am only 10, like I really care about being worldly, or whatever you call yourself. By the way you’re stupid.” Chibi Bulma fell on the ground laughing at the expression on her older sister’s face. Then she quickly fell silent. A group of young boys were walking up to the three friends.

“Well Bulma, how did you manage to find normal people that would stand next to you? Oh, that’s right Chi-Chi and you are sisters, but Spinak, what are you doing here?” One of the taller boys asked.

“Yeah, aren’t you afraid you’ll catch whatever it is that that freaks got?” questioned a small fat boy in the back.

At hearing this Bulma had to fight the urge to walk over and smack that boy in the head, but she knew she couldn’t interfere. After all it was just a dream, and she was just a bystander. Chibi Bulma, on the other hand, walked right up to the fat boy and punched him, square in the nose. The sickening sound of bones breaking was all that could be heard. Then the boy fell to the ground holding his bloodied face. Onya and Carrion chose that exact moment to walk up, with the King.

“What in the name of Vegeta-sei is going on here!” Bulma’s father bellowed.

“Um…well daddy, these guys came up here and they were making fun of me, Spinak, and Bulma. Well really just Bulma. SO she kinda broke one of ’ems nose. It really wasn’t her fault, he deserved it!”

“You see your majesty this is exactly why I am so thankful you have finally agreed to my transfer.” Carrion said with a sad sigh.

“Yes, Carrion, I know now why you have lobbied tirelessly for this transfer. I just fear losing you and Onya at my side.”

“You flatter us too much your Highness. Give our regards to the young prince.” Bulma watched as her parents, Chi-Chi, and finally herself bowed with one hand over their hearts in front of King Vegeta X. Then, silence fell as the family boarded the plane and waited for the sleeping gas to take its effect.

The world shifted one more time, this was a longer change, Bulma soon discovered why. She was back on Larkeo.

The dream had skipped several years Bulma noticed. “I guess that is because Larkeo was so exciting,” she thought to herself with heavy sarcasm. “The only interesting thing that happened was when Olla showed up, but I was like 22 when he first came. Surely the dream didn’t go that far ahead.” But as Bulma soon noticed her sub-conscious had leapt over ten years ahead, and brought her to the beginning of the end of her former “boring” life.

“Little Blue, Chi! You girls come on, we have got to meet a delegate from Vegeta-sei at the docking bay.” Carrion called to his two daughters.

The two young women ran down the long hallway towards the stairs where their father stood waiting. There hadn’t been any actual “delegate” work for Carrion in almost 4 years. The saiya-jin family had begun to assume they had been forgotten. “I wonder who this delegate is. Maybe he is a saiya-jin! Wouldn’t that be neat Bulma?”

“Yeah, I guess so Chi. It’s been so long since we’ve seen any other saiya-jins. I wonder what Vegeta-sei is like now.”

“It has been ages since we talked to Spinak. She’s already mated, to an elite at that! Don’t you ever wonder what our lives would have been like had we stayed on Vegeta-sei?” Chi-Chi questioned in a soft voice.

“No, I don’t. I don’t wonder because I know what would have happened. You would have mated and I would have become a freak spinster. Instead Fate, being the charming thing she is, has delivered me from the fire into the frying pan. The locals here gawk even more than those young saiya-jin boys used to. But at the very least they are smart enough to keep their tongues here.” With that said the girls arrived at the bottom of the staircase.

“Let’s get going. I don’t want to be late for the first real work I’ve had in ages.”

The three saiya-jins flew in silence to where a handsome young man and several baggage couriers were waiting. He was a tall thin man who on first site would have been thought weak. Long white hair, flawless tan skin, and gray eyes completed the package. Bulma shivered as she gazed into Olla’s eyes. She noticed Chibi Bulma do the same. “I am Olla Bevore, delegate from King Vegeta X of the empire of Vegeta-sei. You, I presume are Carrion, Royal Ambassador of Larkeo?”

“Why, yes I am, and these are my two daughters, Chi-Chi and Bulma. You will probably come to know them as Chi and little Blue. My mate, Onya, was unable to attend your arrival, but says to assure you she will be present at dinner tonight. Girls. Come properly introduce yourselves.”

Neither Chi-Chi nor Bulma could make their legs move. Chi-Chi was awe struck by his features, but Chibi Bulma was sensing something she couldn’t place. Something about his ki and really his very being was….off. Carrion woke them from their shared stupor by placing an oversized hand on each of their backs and pushing them forward.

“Pardon the rudeness of my children, they are usually more articulate .” Olla laughed and assured the miffed Ambassador it was no problem at all.

Bulma’s eyes narrowed. Seeing Olla again, even if it was only in a dream, was more disturbing than she could have ever imagined. His face brought back the feelings of terror and pain he had caused her twice in her, retrospectively, young life. Time chose that moment to shift once again. The location, an empty field two years later, the beginning of the end of Bulma and Chi-Chi‘s life on Larkeo.

Bulma watched as Onya ad Olla fought in the field. Her mother looked so graceful, so acrobatic, Bulma hated to remember what was coming.

“Olla you traitor! You are a being so lowly not even the maggots will feast on your corpse when I am done!”

“Tsk, tsk Onya. Women who hold their tongues are far more attractive. You would do well to remember that.” Olla replied, a sadistic grin giving a slightly crazed look to his smooth features.

Onya growled a response and flew once more at Olla. The traitor used sorcery to bind the saiya-jin woman in place. Onya struggled, but discovered she could not move.

“Now, my dear. Have you anything you wish to say? Perhaps if you beg I will let you live on as my new personal whore. I bet you would enjoy that.” As Olla reached up to touch her cheek, the enraged woman did the only thing she could, spat directly in his face. “Ug, you bitch! You mock me? How dare you?!” With that said Olla created a small laser shaped ki beam. He looked the captive saiya-jin in the eye and said, “Let me guess, your Saiya-jin pride won’t let you admit you want me. Well let us just take care of that so-called pride right now. After all if you aren’t a saiya-jin, can’t use that pride as an excuse.” He aimed the ki at the base of her tail and fired.

No sound escaped Onya’s lips, though one look in her obsidian eyes expressed more pain than words ever could. When Bulma’s mother finally found her voice she said, in a tone so deadly even the Devil would have backed up, “A saiya-jin’s pride is deeper than our tails. I would Never reduce myself to your level. Traitor is below scum in my mind.”

“Then you must die.” Olla looked at the severed tail laying on the ground. Using his mental powers he picked up the tail and wound it around Onya’s throat. “I will give you one last chance. Beg and you live, stay silent and you die in shame.”

“To be killed in battle is no shame.” After saying those last words the saiya-jin warrioress fell silent. Not even as her own tail strangled her did she let a sound escape. A lone tear fell for all her loved ones.

Bulma was so moved by her mother’s courage that she didn’t even notice the tears until she say the dirt at her feet turn to mud. “Even seeing it once before through his mind could never compare to seeing it as though I am there,” she said aloud to herself. Then Bulma fell to her knees and crossed one hand over her heart and raised the other to her brow.

Once again time shifted. Bulma knew her father’s death would be next.

“Olla, you traitorous bastard! Where are you?”

“I am right here friend.”

“I am no friend of yours.”

“Yes, I suppose you are right. You aren’t. Why didn’t you just leave when I asked you to Carrion? Freeza would have Bulma and you would still have a mate. I guess the mind control wasn’t strong enough, or maybe I just like playing games.”

“Olla I have no patience to listen to you. This ends now!”

“For once oh Royal Ambassador you are correct. This does end now.”

Bulma watched as Olla used a ki dampening force field on her father. She saw Olla’s face light up with the snap of each saiya-jin bone. Olla worked his way from limb to limb crushing bones and severing tendons. Carrion continued to struggle against his restraints till he was as weak as a newborn. Still, the brave warrior refused to fall. As death finally claimed him he stood tall for a brief moment, before falling to the earth, unmoving forever.

Bulma tried to hold back the new set of tears. “I knew it was going to happen but to be 100 yards away from it is almost too much.” For her fallen father, The Mystic repeated the signs of respect shown to her mother. Bulma knew that time was about to shift again and she dreaded what would probably be the next stop. Fate stepped in and sent Bulma to the last place she wanted to be, the back room of a dark restaurant.

“Look we don’t want any trouble. We just want to go to the docking bay and leave.”

“Well, uh, Miss Chi-Chi, ain’t it? It’s been my figuring that your family owes me quite a bit of money. Now I don’t suppose you got a way to pay me back do ya?” As he questioned the dark-haired saiya-jin he rubbed a greasy finger down her arm.

“Sir, you know my sister and I have no money. Please, our parents were just murdered by someone thought to be a friend. Is there no room in your heart to just let us go?”

“No sweetie there ain’t. The ways I figures it, you got two options. One of those options is pay me the money. Seeing as how you got none, I guess option two is all that’s left.”

Neither girl had to ask what “option two” was. Lust was written all over the man’s face. About five more men stepped out from the shadows of the room. The owner of the restaurant made a lunge for Chi-Chi. He pinned her between the wall and his oversized sweaty body.

“Let her go! Don’t touch her!” Chibi Bulma screamed, her blue eyes showing hatred.

“Listen girly you stay outa this. No one wants you. Just your pretty dark-haired sister.” Chi-Chi let out a barely audible gasp.

Chibi Bulma’s tone softened, “No please. I’m begging you. Take me instead. I’ll do anything, just don’t hurt my sister.”

“Bulma no, you can’t. Don’t do this for me!”

Chibi Bulma tried to smile but failed miserably, “Consider it payback for all the times you were there when someone picked on me.”

The leader broke up the moment by dropping Chi-Chi to the floor and grabbing Chibi Bulma’s tail. With her almost completely powerless he flung her to the floor. The other men quickly placed ki suppressing rings around her wrist and ankles. The fat, sweaty owner wanted to be the first. He ripped Chibi Bulma’s clothes while another man held onto her tail. Once she was satisfactorily nude he forced himself upon her. The came another, before allowing unconsciousness to take her the beautiful saiya-jin heard her sister’s cries of “Why, oh gods, why?!”

********************************************************************************

Bulma felt herself being shaken, “Onna, are you okay? Wake up! You were having another nightmare.” The blue-haired woman turned to her love, her savior, her prince and wept for all that could not be changed.

Well, that is the end of chapter 6, how did ya like it? Oh, if you are wondering why the girls didn’t just kick some Larkeo-jin booty, I needed the drama for my plot. Lets just say they hadn’t been trained very well and thought these people were their friends. Okay? Till next chapter…
