“What do you mean you can’t find them? They were supposed to be locked in one of the bottom cells! They have ki-dampeners on for kami’s sake! Please explain to me how they managed to do this.”

“Well uh, I took the girls off.” 17 stated.

“You what! You idiot! She is stronger than you without it! I thought I explained that.”

“But she looked so small and fragile, an easy target. I, I, I didn’t think.”

“I programmed you to. Obviously you are flawed, therefore I have no more use for you.”

“No, Doctor Gero! I promise, it won’t happen again.”

“I know.” Then Doctor Gero pulled a small remote from his lab coat pocket and aimed it at Juuna-gou. The young androids eyes lit in terror momentarily, before shutting, completely lifeless. “Let that be a lesson to you Juuhachi. Do not make mistakes you are not willing to pay for.” The doctor turned and left the now disabled android and his sister alone.

The female artificial human looked over at her brother and spat, “You baka! You idiot! You fool! Look at what you have done! Now I have to go find those brats so Gero will reactivate you.” She continued her rant and began beating on his chest. However, this time her brother gave no witty reply. That is when the realization hit her, 17 was not going to be turned back on this time. Juuhachi-gou fell to her knees and wailed at the top of her lungs, “Radditz, you and that little wench will pay with your lives!” The beautiful android collected herself and stood, her icy eyes narrowing as she whispered, “Even if it costs me my own.”

Fate was running through the palace. Chronos had caught her watching Bulma and Goku and was getting suspicious. The fire-haired goddess had to think of a way to divert him before he put two and two together. “Chronos, are you out here?” she called.

“Why yes my pet. I am here. Why do you seek me so?” he questioned, a malicious smirk flitting across his face. He reached a hand up and brushed a stray strand of hair from her face.

Fate repressed the bile rising in her throat, “Why your Highness I was merely seeking the pleasure of your company.”

“Are the children that you watch so closely not company enough?”

“Oh that, it is merely cheap entertainment. Mortal antics amuse me so. No, I am here looking for more intense entertainment.” Fate purred the last few words out, hating herself the whole time. She kept reminding herself that this was all for the sake of her chosen ones. She had to keep Chronos happy and distracted for as long as possible.

Chronos’ face lit up in sadistic pleasure. “So you have finally changed your mind. Glad to hear it my amethyst eyed treat. What kind of entertainment did you have in mind?”

Fate’s face paled and she barely recognized the shaky voice as her own, “Let us just see where the night leads us.”

Chi-Chi and Radditz had heard Gero’s and Juuhachi’s yells from their hiding place in the ships cargo bay. Both feared the malicious female more than her creator. The captured pair now waited for Radditz to gain access into The Pinra’s mainframe. In the cargo bay they had discovered a small emergency escape pod, but access to its controls required a password. So now they sat, Chi-Chi on the lookout, Radditz hacking away. If not for the direness of the situation, it might have been a funny sight, a 190 pound man typing into a tiny control pad while a 105 pound woman sat guard. “Yes! I got it!” Radditz yelled after 15 minutes of trying. “Now we can get out of here.” The hatch to the escape pod opened and the couple boarded.

“Hey Rad. Don’t you think Gero will notice we are gone? I mean, this is his pod after all. It could have a tracker or something.” The saiya-jin man nodded his head in agreement, and then a serious look overtook his handsome features. Chi-Chi knew that the look meant the genius was thinking, hard. She also knew the look was like a silent “Do Not Disturb” signal.

After a few intense moments Radditz turned to face away from Chi-Chi and whispered, “I can’t think of a way out besides the pod. We don’t have much of a choice though. If we try and fail then we wind up right back here. Things will defiantly be worse if we get caught, but it is a chance we have to take.”

“I know. I am willing. Besides, you don’t think Juuhachi would seriously try to kill us do you?”

“Honestly Chi. I think she would.”

Chi-Chi sighed and then shrugged saying, “Well lets get going. Better to try and fail than never knowing what we could have done. Lets bust out of here Rad!”

Radditz looked over at Chi-Chi and smiled and thought to himself, “I know I should be worrying about the ship, but I can’t concentrate with her sitting right there. She is like some kind of warrior goddess, beautiful and strong.” Radditz didn’t speak his thought, he simply pushed them to the back of his head and forced himself to focus on the controls.

Chi-Chi glanced over at Radditz, “Man, Rad is hot! I slept so good last night, which is pretty incredible considering where we were,” an exasperated sigh was the only outward sigh that she had been thinking.

“Hey Chi! We have a problem. This pod is equipped to return to a magnetic control force field.” Chi-Chi just looked at the scientist, a blank look in her eyes. “Um…that means, if The Pinra has a magnetic control force field and Gero activates it, we will automatically be pulled right back to the cargo bay. According to this screen we have about 11,000 feet before we are out of it’s reach. Kami, please don’t let Gero notice we are gone till it is to late to stop us.” Radditz muttered.

Gero paced back and forth in his lab, when Juuroku-gou paged him from the control room. “Doctor, I think you should come look at this.”

Radditz typed furiously onto the tiny screen in hopes of jamming the MCF. “Realistically we have two chances for escape, one we can hope the signal jams or two, Gero won’t notice our departure for 8,000 more feet.

Chi-Chi licked her lips in anxiety and anticipation. Her adrenaline was on a high, coursing through her veins at an insane pace.

“Doctor they are trying to jam the MCF’s signal, and they are about 8,000 feet from exciting our force field. Once they pass that point we will be unable to find them.”

“Then take care of it 16! If you let them get away you will join 17. Am I understood?”

The larger android nodded in compliancy and began to set the keypad on fire with his typing. Code after code after code was typed into the keypad in hopes of retrieving the runaway teenagers.

“Chi, I think we’re going to make it! Only about ten more seconds. Come on little pod, you can do it! Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three.”

“Yes! We are fre…”

“Attention! Attention! You have taken this pod without permission. Therefore you will immediately be returned to the cargo bay for questioning.” Red lights flashed on and off and the pod was thrown into hard reverse.

Chi-Chi and Radditz looked at each other, and the obsidian eyed girl summed up the situation in seven words, “We’re in big trouble. This fucking sucks!”

This morning Bulma was the first to wake. She lay there in Goku’s embrace, propped up by one elbow, gazing at his still form. A stronger force than willpower caused her hand to reach out and touch his face, gently tracing his eyelids and lips. He wrinkled his nose just a little at the tickling sensation on his face before opening his eyes. When he saw who it was sweetly torturing him, his face lit up in a smile. She had tried to act innocent and fake sleep, but his saiya-jin eyes had seen her move before she even knew he was awake. He covered a laugh when he looked over at her and noticed her laying thee with her eyes squinted shut and lips fighting off a smile. Goku eased his arms out from around her and silently chuckled at the angered look that crossed her face. She frowned and squinted harder, then made a small “humph” sound in the back of her throat. Goku shook his head and smoothly scooted his way down the makeshift pallet. He reached down and grabbed a tiny foot and began a terrible tickle torture. Bulma’s eyes flew open and she began squirming and kicking trying to escape the playful wrath of the saiya-jin. Goku looked at he, and got lost in all he saw; her aqua locks lay splayed out in all directions, her crystalline blue eyes sparkled with mirth, and her pale face had gained a rosy red color from her laughing. She looked d beautiful. Goku snapped himself back to reality and commenced his exquisite torture by sucking gingerly on her toes. Bulma giggled and moaned and tried to free herself from the rapture.

“Goku-sa, stop that! Let me up, I need a bath, and you need to go get what you can from the pod.” She said, between giggles and moans.

Goku looked up from her calf and said, “But Bulma the pod sunk remember?”

“Uh huh, but I need you to swim down there and retrieve anything you can. Maybe I can salvage bits and pieces of the technology. Damn, I wish I had some capsules.” Goku dropped her slim leg and stood up. Bulma watched him walk out of the cave entrance without so much as a goodbye. “Well, I wonder where he is going so soon. Didn’t even say bye! I didn’t mean he had to go get the stuff Now! Geez, MEN!” The blue-haired beauty threw her hands up in a sign of exasperation and stomped out of the cave towards the lake. From deep in the foliage two pairs of eyes went unnoticed by the raging scientist.

Goku returned to the cave moments later, his arms laden with fresh-picked fruit. “Hey B! Stay right there! I want to feed you breakfast.” No response. “Um, Bulma don’t you like the idea?” Still only silence. “B, are you here?” Goku peaked over the top of the fruit and noticed the empty cave. He then set the fruit on the cave floor and scratched his head a puzzled expression coming across his face, “Hm, I wonder where she ran off to now. Silly girl. Never can stay put.” The dark-haired boy let out a small chuckle, “Well wherever she is, I am betting she’s mad at me. Better go find her and present a peace offering.” With that said the cheerful saiya-jin picked up a few pieces of fruit and headed off in the direction of the lake.

As he walked along, he too, failed to notice the glaring eyes watching in the woods.

Fate repressed a shudder as Chronos ran a hand down her bare arm. She felt repulsed , sore, and sick, yet Chronos had noticed nothing. She looked at the god laying next to her and felt bile rising once again, this time she didn’t think she’d be able to hold it back. “Please excuse me your Highness. I feel the need to shower, and I am sure you have much to attend to.”

“Yes, of course Fate my pet. I am very busy,” he yawned out. “You are excused, but I will look forward to such a meeting again.”

“As will I.” She sweetly replied, and then quickly excited the room. She ran down one of the many hallways finally losing the contents of her stomach. The goddess known to humanity as Fate, slumped against the slightly damp wall and cried. She sobbed for Chi-Chi and Radditz, and Bulma and Goku, and then she cried for herself and the disgusting deed she had done. “Oh my little ones you must not fail. I beg you.” The slim deity gathered herself and retraced her steps. Leaning against Chronos’ door she heard heavy snores just as she had hoped.

The tiny pod and it’s two occupants slammed roughly back into the docking bay. Chi-Chi was thrown headfirst into a metal wall and Radditz was launched into the control panel. The hatch to the pod opened and there stood an enraged female, a pacifist male, and a furious doctor. “Juuhachi, Juuroku-gou, grab them and follow me.” The doctor set a quick pace towards the bottom floor. When they finally reached their destination, the smallest, darkest, most rat-infested cell on the ship, Gero stopped and said, “I can’t say I don’t admire your courage and brains, but I warned you not to cross me. Yet you did. Shameful really. I thought saiya-jins and chikla-jins had more sense than that. If I were you I would try to remember that you have no friends, only enemies. I might not always be around when Juuhachi is.” Doctor Gero then turned to the two remaining androids and said, “Beat them for their insolence. Do not kill them though. They are worth to much alive. 16 watch 18. If I find either dead in the morning, it is on your head.: The mad-man then turned and exited the dank cell, leaving Chi-Chi and Radditz alone with their punishers.

Juuhachi’s face seemed to glow with pleasure as she grabbed Chi-Chi’s arm and snapped it from it’s socket. The useless appendage hung at her side and she screamed in pain. Chi-Chi began to power up, willing the adrenaline still running rampart to focus. 18 noticed this and placed a quick chop to the side of her neck, knocking the feisty raven-haired beauty to the floor. Juuhachi-gou picked the girl’s limp form off the floor by her hair, and began to punch the captive’s perfect face. When Chi-Chi’s face was a mass of blood and bruise, the blond woman moved to her healthy arm. She broke the fingers and cut and clawed the smooth skin. 18 then flung Chi-Chi back down. From there the android began to slowly crush each of the fallen fighter’s ribs. When 18 was happy with her handy work she exited the cell, failing to wait for Juuroku-gou.

The massive man’s face never changed expression as he pounded Radditz to a bloody pulp. He threw the still-conscious man across the room and nodded slightly at the thud and sickening crunch that followed. He dusted his hands off and shut the cell door behind him as he left. At the sound of the lock being turned, neither hostage moved. If someone had peeked into the cell at that moment, they never would have recognized that a man and girl were it’s occupants. Bloody, marred, and battered, Chi-Chi and Radditz lay. About an hour later Radditz woke and forced himself to scoot over to where Chi-Chi still lay unmoving. Grimacing in pain at every movement, the saiya-jin youth finally made it to her side. He tore off a corner of his tunic and cleaned her face as best he could. He then took off his tunic and tore it into strips. Using his makeshift bandages, Radditz gently reset her dislocated shoulder and patched her broken hand. He then set his own injuries, one of which was a kneecap facing west on a leg facing east. He bit his lip in an effort to not cy out as he set the kneecap back into place. Almost blinded by the amazing pain, Radditz found the power to go on. He finished up with all his wounds and then tried to wake Chi-Chi. “Chi, hey, Chi. Wake up. Come on now, you have to wake up. Remember the deal? I take care of you, you take care of me.” Radditz laughed nervously as he noticed her failure to respond. “C’mon Chi. Please wake up. I can’t lose you. I need you. Really Chi-Chi. If you can hear me say something, do anything!” By this point Radditz was getting hysterical, “Chi-Chi! Come on! Wake up! I Need You!”

“You need me for what? Rad.” She whispered, a small smile playing on her lips as she felt her face dampen by another’s tears.

“Oh Kami Chi. I thought you were in a coma. I don’t think I could have gone on without you.” Radditz reached down and wiped his tears off her face, and then removed the strands of hair that had fallen into her eyes. At the contact of his hand Chi-Chi felt her heart quicken and her face flush. She turned her lips into his hand, gently nipping and kissing each finger. Radditz leaned down and kissed the black-eyed vision that lay broken beneath him. She deepened the kiss, but whimpered in pain when Radditz touched her rib cage. Radditz quickly broke the kiss and questioned, “Chi, are you okay?”

“That yellow haired bitch. I think she cracked my rib cage.”

“Let me have a look.” Radditz slipped the tunic over her head and forced back the nauseous feeling that had come over him. Her thin waist was a nest of blood and torn muscle. One rib was protruding from the skin, angled in an odd direction. “Chi this is going to hurt something awful, but if I don’t reset it, you might not make it through the night.”

Chi-Chi nodded, she had noticed her breathing was heavier and harder than usual.

Radditz told her to bite down on one of the fabric strips to help focus attention elsewhere. He moved the rib back to place with expert ease and then wound his homemade bandages around her waist and rib cage. He then helped Chi-Chi pull the tunic back over her head. “That should hold. You are going to be very sore tomorrow, but I am betting that should be the last of our worries.”

Chi-Chi sighed and Radditz helped her to her feet. The battered pair, using the other for support, hobbled to the only wall with a window. Radditz helped Chi-hi sit, and then lowered himself rather hap-hazardously to the floor. Chi-Chi leaned her head against Radditz’s shoulder, using both him and the wall behind her as a prop. Radditz wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close. He gently kissed the top of her head and whispered, “That which does not kill us makes will make us stronger. Kami I hope that is true,” and with the endless expanse of stars shining down on them through the small cell window, the down but not out couple found peace in togetherness and sleep.

Bulma had slipped out of her filthy stained clothes and waded into the shallow part of the lake. She was careful to not go deep, less she face the horrible squid that attacked her the day before. The water came up to her navel, leaving her full breasts open to sight. The glaring eyes widened as they watched the blue perfection bathe. She lowered herself to her knees and then stood again. The water felt so cool and clean around her. The bottom half of her waist length hair had gotten wet and now hung in loose waves to her hipbones, creating a cascading waterfall down her back.

She almost jumped out of the water when she heard a whistle from the beach followed by the familiar voice of Son Goku, “Hey B! Wow, are taking a bath? You look great! I mean, you look clean!”

In her anger Bulma turned around to face the shore, forgetting the water only reached her navel. She blushed a brilliant shade of red as she watched Goku’s eyes bulge and his jaw drop. The next thing she knew Goku was standing next to her, lips pressed against her own, bare chests touching. “Um, Goku you got your pants wet.” Bulma mentally kicked herself over that smooth comment.

Goku, too, was struck dumb by the situation and only said wow in an awe filled whisper.

Bulma regained her senses and lowered her chest beneath the water. Goku reached forward, compelled by some unseen force, and grasped her waist. She fought to be free for a brief moment before succumbing to the temptation. Goku sat on his knees in the water and held Bulma against him. She wrapped her legs against his waist and then hooked her arms around his neck. Goku removed his hands from her middle and began to trace her spine, then coming forward to her collarbone. His eyes never left hers as his hands explored the delicate nape of her neck and beyond. The saiya-jin male smiled as her eyes shut when he began to rub her breasts and nipples. Goku took them into his hand one at a time, rubbing and teasing and massaging. Bulma moved her head forward and captured Goku’s lips in a passionate kiss.

The two in the trees began growling at the sight before them. Their perfect was being attacked by that, that saiya-jin! The Athena-jin scouts looked at each other and nodded. They knew what to do. King Zether and his young son would be pleased to see the beautiful woman, and an unconscious saiya-jin.

“Zinith, you get the girl and I will handle the saiya-jin.”

“Alright Zar, but be careful. He might be dirty.”

Zinith snuck around on one side of the shore, while Zar went to the other. Simultaneously the two Athena-jins pounced. Zinith wrenched Bulma from Goku’s unsuspecting grip just as Zar attacked the saiya-jin from behind.

“Let go of me you bastard! Let me get my clothes, you little pervert! You were spying on me weren’t you! Let me go now! If you don’t I will kill you in your sleep and then cut off your toes and shove them in your mouth. You prick! You asshole mother banshee! Put me down!” Bulma kicked and screamed until the Athena-jin man thought he would have to kill her just to quiet her. Zinith grabbed her clothes and helped her put them on, the slung the blue eyed genius over his shoulder.

Zar was having even less luck with Goku. The Athena-jin had gotten in a few good hits before Goku had shifted the favor to his own. Goku fired numerous ki blasts at the strange man and then attacked him in a fury of rage. “Give her back! If you hurt one hair on her head I will make you suffer in ways even the Devil has yet to imagine, and that is a promise.” Goku then flew at Zar head on, phased out and attacked from behind. The enraged Athena-jin transformed to his monster state. He was no longer a handsome man, instead a green beast stood in his place.

The fight was over in a matter of moments. Zar carried the unconscious saiya-jin to the palace, Zinith close behind, a kicking, struggling, and crying Bulma is his grasp.
